  2. Alcohol hand rub (located in all patient care areas)

Clean your hands:

    • before eating
    • after using the restroom
    • after touching any hard surfaces (bedside table, hand rails, and phone).

Doctors, nurses, and visitors must also use good hand hygiene before touching you. It is okay for you to remind them to do so.
